New Releases

New on Streaming This Week

This week's new additions are... interesting. Deathless exploded onto streaming at 9.6, which is almost suspiciously high — either it's genuinely incredible or the review-bombing bots are working overtime. Band of Brothers (9.4) and Planet Earth II (9.4) are technically "new" to certain platforms, which is the streaming equivalent of re-releasing a movie in theaters and calling it new.

The international titles are where it gets fun: Državni posao (Serbian political comedy, 9.4) and Allone (9.4) are crashing the English-language party. Chernobyl and The Shawshank Redemption rounding out the list is peak "if it ain't broke" programming. Streamers know that sometimes the best new content is old content on a new platform. Cynical? Maybe. Effective? Check the numbers.

These are the top-rated movies and shows added over the last 7 days across streaming platforms.
