About
You can watch A Better Tomorrow III: Love and Death in Saigon (1989) on Kanopy with a participating library card, rent on Apple TV+, or buy on Apple TV+.
Before the events of A Better Tomorrow (1986), Mark 'Gor' Lee heads to Saigon during the Vietnam War to bring home his uncle and cousin, but his task becomes complicated when a well-known criminal tries to help him.
Chow Yun-fat trades his sleek urban cool for the humid, chaotic desperation of wartime Saigon. This prequel swaps stylish gunplay for a heavy, emotional slog through the shadows of a conflict-torn landscape.
