About
You can stream An American Carol (2008) on Amazon Prime with a subscription.
A cynical anti-American Hollywood filmmaker sets out on a crusade to abolish the 4th of July holiday. He is visited by three spirits who take him on a hilarious journey in an attempt to show him the true meaning of America.
Cheesy holiday sentimentality meets broad, slapstick absurdity in this lightweight reimagining of a classic fable. Expect plenty of loud, unrefined comedy as a bitter director faces supernatural intervention to save the Fourth of July.
