About

Three years after the Hiroshima bombing, a teenager helps a group of orphans to survive and find their new life.
A raw, trembling vocal performance captures the frantic desperation of a boy struggling to protect his makeshift family amidst the ruins. This animated sequel trades spectacle for the quiet, heavy ache of rebuilding a life from ash and hunger.
