About
You can stream Encounter (2018) on Netflix with a subscription.
Following a chance encounter overseas, a woman with much to lose and a man with little to his name meet again as employer and employee.
Instead of typical romantic escapism, this slow-burn drama focuses on the quiet friction between a weary woman seeking peace and a youthful photographer living without pretension. Their connection feels earned through subtle glances and the heavy weight of social status.
