Greta, the Mad Butcher

About

You can watch Greta, the Mad Butcher (1977) on Bloodstream, subject to provider eligibility, rent on FlixFling, or buy on FlixFling.

A young woman feigns illness in order to infiltrate a mental hospital, where she investigates the disappearance of her sister, a former patient. Meanwhile, the hospital warden and her attendants abuse and torture their charges, forcing them to star in cheap skinflicks.

This transgressive slice of exploitation cinema swaps traditional slasher tropes for a claustrophobic study of institutional cruelty. A desperate search for a lost sibling transforms into a nauseating look at the exploitation of vulnerable women behind asylum walls.
