A young man in 1981 South Africa must complete his brutal and racist two years of compulsory military service while desperately maintaining the secrecy of his homosexuality.
A young soldier navigates the crushing weight of South African military training while hiding his sexuality from a regime built on hyper-masculine prejudice. The film captures the suffocating pressure of maintaining a lie when survival depends on conformity.
