About
You can stream Mortal Kombat: Legacy (2011) on Max with a subscription.
The first season of Mortal Kombat Legacy is a prequel to the original game, explaining the background stories of several characters from the series and demonstrating their reasons for participating in the upcoming tenth Mortal Kombat tournament on which the first game was based.
Budget constraints yield a surprisingly inventive visual style that prioritizes creative choreography over expensive CGI. This prequel series builds character depth by grounding legendary fighters in grounded, personal motivations before the tournament begins.
