About
You can watch Mr. Nice (2010) on Hoopla with a participating library card.
Biopic about 1970s Welsh marijuana trafficker Howard Marks, whose inventive smuggling schemes made him a huge success in the drug trade, as well as leading to dealings with both the IRA and British Intelligence. Based on Marks' biography with the same title.
Forget the typical dark underworld tropes for a sun-drenched, eccentric look at a man who turned smuggling into a flamboyant lifestyle. This biopic swaps heavy tension for a colorful, almost whimsical approach to the chaotic intersection of drug trafficking and international espionage.
