About
You can watch Ned's Newt (1997) for free on Darkroom.
When nine-year-old Ned Flemkin feeds his pet newt a can of Zippo, he ends up turning into a 6-foot shapeshifting pal for life.
A manic, high-pitched vocal performance breathes chaotic life into a shapeshifting reptile that defies every law of biology. This surreal animated romp trades logic for pure, unadulterated absurdity every time the lizard transforms.
