About
You can stream Pinocchio (1940) on Disney+ with a subscription.
When the gentle woodcarver Geppetto builds a marionette to be his substitute son, a benevolent fairy brings the toy to life. The puppet, named Pinocchio, is not yet a human boy. He must earn the right to be real by proving that he is brave, truthful, and unselfish.
Hand-drawn shadows and lush, watercolor landscapes transform a humble Italian village into a realm of genuine magic. You will find yourself captivated by the whimsical tension between a puppet’s longing for humanity and the treacherous whims of a world built on deception.
