About

About ten years after the Second World War, a group of juvenile offenders are sent to the Shounan Special Reform School, a kind of juvenile detention center, to deal with the atrocities and injustices they experienced in the war.
This animated drama trades bright colors for the suffocating shadows of post-war Japan and the brutal reality of juvenile reformatories. It finds profound humanity within a group of outcasts struggling to survive an era defined by systemic cruelty and broken promises.
