A fictional documentary discusses the effects the Iraq war has had on soldiers and local people through interviews with members of an American military unit, the media, and local Iraqis.
Izzy Diaz struggles to reconcile the polished propaganda of news broadcasts with the brutal, unedited reality of the soldiers she interviews. This mockumentary strips away the cinematic glory of combat to reveal the messy friction between military truth and media spin.
