A Chinese-American lesbian and her traditionalist mother are reluctant to go public with secret loves that clash against cultural expectations.
Generational friction ignites when a Chinese-American daughter’s secret romance clashes with her mother’s desperate pursuit of traditional family respectability. This sharp comedy balances the sting of cultural shame against the tender necessity of living authentically.
