About
You can stream Sex and the City (1998) on Max with a subscription.
Based on the bestselling book by Candace Bushnell, Sex and the City tells the story of four best friends, all single and in their late thirties, as they pursue their careers and talk about their sex lives, all while trying to survive the New York social scene.
Forget typical sitcom tropes about domesticity to find a sharp, unapologetic examination of female friendship and urban desire. These four women navigate the complicated dating landscape of Manhattan with a wit that feels as stylish as their wardrobes.
