About
You can watch Subway (1985) for free on Darkroom.
Fred, a raffish safe blower, takes refuge in the Paris Metro after being chased by the henchmen of a shady businessman from whom he has just stolen some documents. While hiding out in the back rooms and conduits of the Metro, Fred encounters a subterranean society of eccentric characters and petty criminals.
An ethereal, wide-eyed intensity radiates from the screen as a thief seeks refuge within the neon-soaked labyrinth of the Paris Metro. This subterranean world pulses with a frantic, jazz-infused energy that transforms dark transit tunnels into a playground for beautiful outcasts.
