About
You can stream The Barrier (2020) on Netflix with a subscription.
One family’s fight for survival in a future dystopian Madrid illustrates the disparity between two worlds separated by a fence — and so much more.
A massive concrete wall splits Madrid into a playground for the elite and a survivalist wasteland for everyone else. This claustrophobic vision of class warfare trades sprawling space operas for the raw, frantic tension of a family trapped on the wrong side of the line.
