The triumphant underdog story of the University of Washington men's rowing team, who stunned the world by competing at the 1936 Berlin Olympics.
An understated, soulful performance brings the rhythmic strain of the rowing shell to life against the backdrop of 1936 Berlin. This sweeping underdog tale trades typical sports clichés for a quiet, visceral look at how synchronized movement can defy a darkening world.
