About
Erik, a loner, finds a friend in Dexter, an eleven-year-old boy with AIDS. They vow to find a cure for AIDS together and save Dexter's life in an eventful summer.
A heartbreakingly vulnerable turn from a child facing mortality transforms this summer odyssey into something deeply visceral. Two unlikely friends navigate the cruelty of an epidemic with a raw, unvarnished sincerity that avoids easy sentimentality.
