A serial killer is stalking New York City. Inspector Edward Delaney is an NYPD detective, nearing retirement, who is trying to put together the pieces of the case. Are the victims somehow linked? What does the brutal method of death signify?
A cold, rain-slicked New York City atmosphere sets the stage for a procedural hunt through a series of ritualistic murders. This veteran detective's final pursuit through the urban shadows feels heavy with the exhaustion of a man facing his sunset years.
