About
You can stream The Mummy (1932) on Peacock with a subscription.
An ancient Egyptian priest named Imhotep is revived when a British archaeological expedition finds his mummy and one of the researchers accidentally reads an ancient life-giving spell. Imhotep escapes from the field site and searches for the reincarnation of the soul of his lover.
Shadowy corridors and heavy, hypnotic silence build a sense of dread that modern jump scares simply cannot replicate. This slow-burn nightmare relies on unsettling stillness and the sheer presence of a reanimated priest to haunt your dreams.
