About
Maurice Flitcroft, a dreamer and unrelenting optimist, managed to gain entry to The British Open Golf Championship qualifying in 1976 and subsequently shot the worst round in Open history, becoming a folk hero in the process.
A portrait of stubborn, joyful eccentricity shines through a man determined to play professional golf despite having zero talent. This gentle comedy finds profound warmth in the absurdity of a dreamer refusing to acknowledge his own limitations.
