About
You can stream The Philadelphia Experiment (1984) on Amazon Prime with a subscription.
Based on an "actual event" that took place in 1943. About a US Navy Destroyer Escort that disappeared from the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard, and sent two men 40 years into the future to 1984.
A secret naval experiment gone wrong flings two sailors from the height of World War II directly into the neon-soaked confusion of the eighties. This time-slip adventure trades heavy philosophy for a propulsive, eerie sense of displacement.
