About
You can stream The Secret of NIMH 2: Timmy to the Rescue (1999) on Amazon Prime with a subscription.
The rats and mice, made intellectually superior in the original Secret of N.I.M.H., return to Thorn Valley to groom their destined leader - young Timmy Brisby.
This direct-to-video sequel swaps the original's hand-drawn shadow and weight for a bright, bouncy aesthetic typical of late-nineties digital animation. While it lacks the soulful atmosphere of its predecessor, the film serves as a colorful, lightweight distraction for younger viewers.
