About
You can stream The Sentimental Swordsman (1977) on ARROW with a subscription.
A swordsman does everything it takes to bring justice. However, he has a drinking problem which eventually leads to his downfall.
Traditional wuxia heroics collide with the messy, unglamorous reality of a protagonist struggling against a debilitating addiction. This martial arts epic trades flawless perfection for a heavy, booze-soaked character study that feels strikingly human.
