About
You can watch Uncle Was a Vampire (1959) on Hoopla with a participating library card, rent on Fandango At Home, or buy on Fandango At Home.
Baron Osvaldo Lambertenghi is forced to sell his ancestral castle, staying on as a bellboy when it's converted into a hotel. However he becomes vampirized when his mysterious uncle comes to stay.
A whimsical sense of dread permeates this campy Italian romp through a crumbling, gothic estate. Watching a disgraced baron trade his nobility for a bellboy uniform creates a delightful collision of slapstick comedy and classic creature features.
