In the 1990s, a series of murders rocks a run-down industrial city in north-eastern China.
Trapped in a decaying industrial landscape, a young officer must navigate a labyrinth of local corruption to solve a string of brutal killings. The heavy atmosphere of 1990s northeastern China makes every shadow feel like a potential threat.
