Takuma Hirose, an emotionally wounded boy becomes blind after his mother died in his childhood. For medical treatment, he moves to his mother’s home village where he enters a new school.
This animated drama subverts typical school tropes by centering on a boy navigating life through the darkness of sudden blindness. It finds unexpected warmth in the quiet, healing moments found within a small seaside village.
